Krueger-Braneky’s first senior expo connects hundreds with valuable services
BROOKHAVEN, Sept. 22 – Flu shots, information on prescription drug plans, Property Tax/Rent Rebate applications and SEPTA Key senior ID cards are just a sampling of the services nearly 200 seniors of the 161st District were able to take part in at state Rep. Leanne Krueger-Braneky’s senior expo today.
"The turnout was better than I could have ever hoped for, with residents from all across the district joining us today and connecting with local, state and federal resources," Krueger-Braneky said. "I look forward to continuing to provide information and services to ensure our seniors are taking the utmost advantage of every opportunity they have."
Residents who were unable to attend the senior expo may contact Krueger-Braneky’s office at (610) 534-6880 to get information on any state government-related service they may be eligible for and also sign up for Krueger-Braneky’s senior breakfast on Oct. 6.
