FOLSOM, Oct. 17 – State Rep. Leanne Krueger-Braneky, D-Delaware, will be hosting a free shredding event for constituents to safely dispose of confidential, unwanted documents from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 21, at Northley Middle School, 2801 Concord Road, Aston.
Attendees are asked to enter through Concord Road.
Common types of unwanted items that should be shredded include credit card statements, credit card applications, bank statements, canceled checks, income tax information, insurance records and retirement or pension fund information.
There is a limit of no more than five bags or boxes per person. Paper will be shredded on site and recycled.
