LEARNING ABOUT PA'S BLACK BEARS

Last week, I joined some of my colleagues from the House Game and Fisheries Committee, game wardens, and PA Game Commission representatives in Westmoreland County for a discussion on managing PA’s black bear population and a firsthand look at cub tagging.

The Pennsylvania Game Commission is staffed with highly skilled wardens, scientists, and other dedicated people who work diligently to support and maintain wildlife and game lands. It was a pleasure to be out with these amazing folks.

SPRING SHREDDING EVENT

Declutter and protect yourself from identity theft! Join me on April 18 at Burkett Sports Complex for a free shredding event, where personal documents will be safely destroyed on-site.

While you're there, the Allegheny County Sheriff's Office Project D.U.M.P. will be collecting unused and expired medications for proper disposal.

I hope to see you there!

BUS LINE REFRESH

a placeholder image for you to replace

Pittsburgh Regional Transit’s Bus Line Redesign is now Bus Line Refresh. After hearing thousands of riders, businesses, stakeholders, and even their own drivers, PRT revamped its proposal to improve the network. Explore the interactive maps, see what's changing on your route, and tell PRT what you think. The final draft comes this summer, so now's the time to weigh in.

Visit BusLineRefresh.com to see the updated proposal and give PRT your feedback.
