Tomorrow, May 19, is the Primary Election. It’s important that you make your voice heard and vote!

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Find your polling place here.

If you have a mail ballot and have not yet returned it, do not put it in the mail. Return it in person to a ballot return site today or the Allegheny County Office Building by 8 p.m. on Election Day to ensure that your vote is counted. A postmark by that time is not sufficient.

Please note that my office will be closed on Primary Election Day. We will reopen on Wednesday, May 19.

With National Safe Boating Week underway, now is the perfect time to prepare for the season ahead. As the majority chair of the House Game and Fisheries Committee, I worked with the PA Fish and Boat Commission on a video to help your brush up on boating safety skills before heading out on the water.

The deadline to apply for the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program has been extended to December 31, 2026.

The program supports eligible older adults and people with disabilities aged 18 or older by providing a rebate of up to $1,000 on property taxes or rent paid in 2025.

If you’ve already applied for PTRR, rebates will be distributed starting on July 1. Check the status of your rebate by using the Where’s My Rebate? tool on myPATH.

In observance of Memorial Day, my district office will be closed on Friday, May 22 through Monday, May 25. We’ll see you on Tuesday, May 26!
