Daley sworn in for second term as state representative

HARRISBURG, Jan. 6 – State Rep. Mary Jo Daley, D-Montgomery, was sworn in today to represent the people of the 148th Legislative District for the 2015-2016 legislative session.

Daley said some of her legislative priorities include making online voter registration a reality in Pennsylvania and for employers to provide private, sanitary space for nursing mothers to pump breast milk.

"These issues are just two of the bigger issues that could make a difference not only with my constituents, but with people across the Commonwealth," Daley said. "I look forward to working with my colleagues as well as Governor-elect Wolf to make Pennsylvania a better place to live."

Daley invites her constituents to visit her newly redesigned webpage, www.pahouse.com/MDaley, for more information on her legislative priorities, outreach programs, and mobile office hours. Residents can also visit her constituent services office, located at 815 Fayette St., Suite 200, Conshohocken, or call her office at 610-832-1679.

The swearing-in ceremony in the House chamber marked the beginning of the 199th legislative session. The state constitution mandates that the legislature convene at noon on the first Tuesday of January.
