HARRISBURG, Jan. 3 – State Rep. Mary Jo Daley today was sworn into office for a third term as representative for the 148th Legislative District during a ceremony in the Capitol.

I am honored to continue serving the residents of the 148th Legislative District as their state representative,” she said. “And while we face many challenges in the greater commonwealth, I am eager to meet them head-on.”

Daley said that she is looking forward to continued work on increasing education funding and the minimum wage, preserving teacher benefits and supporting sensible gun safety laws, among other legislative initiatives.

“It’s a distinct honor to represent the community of neighbors, friends and family that I call home,” said Daley, D-Montgomery. “I care deeply about the issues that affect us here, and I will remain a steadfast advocate for all the wonderful people, places and initiatives we have to offer.”
