Mayes to host resource fair on pardons, expungements Nov. 16

HARRISBURG, Nov. 14 – To assist formerly incarcerated Pennsylvanians, Rep. La’Tasha D. Mayes, D-Allegheny, will host a resource fair to provide information on pardons, expungements and more.

Mayes will host the resource fair from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16 at Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation’s Community Activity Center, 113 N. Pacific Ave., Pittsburgh.

“By hosting this resource fair, we’ll provide information to formerly incarcerated Pennsylvanians to help them re-enter society to become active members of our community,” Mayes said. “I look forward to working together with the Pennsylvania Board of Pardons and local agencies and organizations to assist constituents in the 24th Legislative District.” 

Pamela Brightbill, an administrative officer for the Pennsylvania Board of Pardons will also attend the resource fair and provide information about pardons and expungements.
