Penn Hills residents living within the Verona 15147 mailing area have recently been solicited by a private, for profit ambulance service working for another community.
Penn Hills residents have been served for over 40 years by Penn Hills Emergency Medical Services, a division of the Penn Hills Police Department and funded by municipal taxes. NO SUBSCRIPTION IS NECESSARY!
Penn Hills employs more than 25 highly qualified paramedics to serve its residents. As with most ambulances services, they are able to bill health care or auto insurance for reimbursement.
For any medical emergency in Penn Hills, dial 911 and Allegheny County will dispatch Penn Hills EMS. In the event that Penn Hills Ambulance services are busy, the municipality has already designated back-up ambulance services to respond to your medical emergency.
