Children's Bike Safety Event

State Rep. Joe McAndrew, in cooperation with Jamar Place of Peace 501C3 and the United Way, is sponsoring a free Children’s Bike Safety Event on Saturday, July 11, from 10 AM to Noon at Petra Ministries Church (near U Pull ‘n’ Pay), 235 Eastgate Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15235.

There will be bike safety handouts, family fun, and refreshments. My staff will also be available to share information regarding important state resources available to you and your family, including health and wellness programs for children and young adults and much more!

Jamar Place of Peace will also be holding a free drawing for 45 boys’ and girls’ bikes for children ages 7-9. The drawing will begin promptly at 11:15 AM.

REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY.

WINNERS MUST BE PRESENT and prepared to take the bicycle home with them.

A PARENT/GUARDIAN MUST REMAIN WITH THE CHILD THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE EVENT.
