Absentee Voting Just Got Easier!

Previously in Pennsylvania, the only option for completing an absentee ballot application was through mail or hand-delivery to a county election office. As of this week, you will be able to apply online for an absentee ballot for the Nov. 5 election. This will quicken the application process and make it more accessible for thousands of voters. The deadline to apply by paper or online is 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29. You will still have to mail or hand-deliver your completed ballot to your county election office by the deadline, which is 5 p.m. on the Friday before the election, or Nov. 1 this year. For now, you will need a PennDOT driver license or ID number for your absentee ballot to be processed electronically.

Evening Office Hours, Wednesday, Sept. 18

My office and United States Congresswoman Madeleine Dean’s office will be staying open until 7 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 18th, to allow constituents who are unable to visit our offices during normal business hours full access to state- and federal government-related services.
