House Democratic Leader Joanna McClinton is partnering with the Free Library of Philadelphia to host their Youth Literacy Extravaganza from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 13 at the Sayre Recreation Center Playground, 5835 Spruce St., Philadelphia.
There will be a book giveaway along with fun literacy games aimed at helping children read.
Parents and guardians must register their children first by calling McClinton's office at (215) 748-6712.
