Justice Bell Foundation Traveling Exhibit
We’re excited to share that the Justice Bell Foundation has brought its traveling exhibit to the Blasco Memorial Library, now on display through October 14 on the second floor.
As part of America250PA, the exhibit highlights the pivotal contributions made in the fight for voting rights and the expansion of democracy in our country. I had the privilege of speaking with the organizers and even “cast my ballot” as part of the interactive experience.
If you’re able, I encourage you to stop by, explore the exhibit, and reflect on this important chapter of our history.

Honoring Service at GECAC’s AmeriCorps 250 Celebration
Tuesday afternoon brought together officials from every level of government at the GECAC AmeriCorps 250 celebration to recognize our senior volunteers. Their dedication supports countless neighbors, and we’re thankful for all they do.
Witnessing the range of their contributions—and the many people behind them—was a powerful reminder that volunteerism is the backbone of a strong community.

We’re especially grateful to our partners at LECOM and the Erie County Department of Health for teaming up with us again this year to make the clinic possible. Their support, along with the efforts of our staff and volunteers, ensured a smooth experience for everyone.

Celebrating a Memorable Mercyhurst Homecoming
Homecoming at Mercyhurst University was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, catch up, and reminisce with friends and colleagues.
The energy on campus was a great reminder of how special Erie County is—and how fortunate we are to be home to four colleges and a community college that enrich our region.
