Rep. Gerald Mullery's Biography
State Representative Gerald Mullery, Esq. ("Jerry") was first elected to represent the citizens of the 119th Legislative District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in November 2010. Jerry's mission as a lawmaker is to stand up for the people of the 119th District and fight for what is most important to them, including family sustaining jobs, safe neighborhoods, good schools, low taxes, clean water and their Second Amendment rights.
A graduate of Greater Nanticoke Area High School, Jerry received a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from King's College in 1992 and graduated from Duquesne University School of Law in 1998. As a practicing lawyer, Jerry focused on workers' compensation, personal injury and Social Security Disability cases.
Jerry married the former Michele Mech of Nanticoke and together they have four children: Leah, Lauren, Liam, and Louden.
Following in his father's footsteps, Jerry is very active in youth sports in Luzerne County's South Valley region. He is a past president of the Greater Nanticoke Area Youth Soccer League and coaches youth baseball, basketball and soccer.
Active in his community, Jerry is a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 913 in Nanticoke, Ancient Order of Hibernians in Wilkes-Barre, and several bar associations.
