Rep. Gerald Mullery June 26, 2019 | 5:27 PM
HARRISBURG, June 26 – State Rep. Gerald Mullery issued the following statement regarding the Hanover Area School District audit findings announced today by Pennsylvania Auditor General Eugene DePasquale:
“In these times of ever-increasing school property taxes, it is vitally important that all taxpayer dollars are spent in an appropriate manner. I fight every day to help provide property tax relief to the constituents I represent. Any decision, be it from one of our local school boards or the General Assembly, that causes school property taxes to be increased should be fully scrutinized. For that reason, I want to thank Auditor General DePasquale for undertaking this audit, discovering these inequities and recovering the misspent funds,” Mullery said.
