Mullery alerting residents to several polling location changes throughout Luzerne County

NANTICOKE, Oct. 27 – State Rep. Gerald Mullery, D-Luzerne, is alerting residents of the 119th Legislative District to several polling location changes for the Nov. 3 general election.

“The election is one week away, and it is absolutely critical that everyone knows the correct location to cast their ballots,” Mullery said. “These changes are necessary in order to maximize voter turnout while also maintaining guidelines to keep voters and poll workers safe.”   

The following locations in Luzerne County’s 119th Legislative District have been changed:

Freeland Borough – Residents who’ve historically voted at the Freeland Event Center will vote at the Freeland Ambulance Association, 417 Johnson St., Freeland.

Nanticoke City Ward 1 – Those who’ve historically voted at Nanticoke Towers will vote at the Nanticoke Municipal Building, 15 E. Ridge St., Nanticoke.

Nanticoke City Ward 3 - Those who’ve historically voted at Oplinger Towers will vote at the Luzerne County Community College Public Safety Training Institute, 1333 S. Prospect St., Nanticoke.

Nanticoke City Ward 4 - Residents who’ve formerly voted at the Nanticoke Football Stadium Fieldhouse will vote at the Luzerne County Community College Public Safety Training Institute, 1333 S. Prospect St., Nanticoke.

Plymouth Borough Ward 1 – Those who’ve historically voted at Dan Flood Towers will vote at the Plymouth Armory, 747 West Main Street, Plymouth.  

Rice Township – All Rice Township residents will vote at Rice Elementary, 3700 Church Road, Mountain Top.  

Sugar Notch Borough – All Sugar Notch residents will vote at the Warrior Run Fire Hall, 316 Academy St., Warrior Run. 

Warrior Run Borough – All Warrior Run residents will vote at the Warrior Run Fire Hall, 316 Academy St., Warrior Run. 

West Hazleton Borough – All West Hazleton residents will vote at the West Hazleton Middle School, 325 North St., West Hazleton.  

Wright Township Wards 1 and 2 – Wright Township residents in Wards 1 and 2 will vote at Crestwood High School, 281 South Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top. 

Wright Township Wards 3 and 4 – Wright Township residents in Wards 3 and 4 will vote at Mountain Top Family Church, 209 South Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top.

Mullery is reminding Luzerne County residents that information about polling locations is available online and said that he encourages all residents of voting age to visit pavoterservices.pa.gov if they have recently moved or are unsure about where to find their polling location.
