Encourages those who served to make use of monthly program

WHITEHALL, May 3 – State Rep. Jeanne McNeill, D-Lehigh, reminds residents that a veterans’ outreach specialist conducts monthly hours at her district office, located at 1080 Schadt Ave., Whitehall.
“I encourage those who served our country to make an appointment with the outreach specialist so that they’re aware of all the programs and services available to assist them,” McNeill said. “The specialist also provides guidance for those who qualify, regarding how to apply for available programs and services. I’m pleased we’re able to offer this popular service to residents, and I invite those who served to utilize this wonderful opportunity so that they’re getting all that they’re entitled to receive.”
According to McNeill, appointments with the outreach specialist are available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the third Monday of each month. Due to a scheduling conflict this month, the outreach specialist will not be available on Monday, May 16 – the third Monday this month – appointments are being accepted for Monday, May 23 to offer this service.
