Merski to host state grant informational workshop March 31

Will feature video presentation, Q&A, free grant directory

ERIE, March 23 – State Rep. Bob Merski will host a State Grant Informational Workshop at 10 a.m. Friday, March 31 to help area businesses and nonprofit organizations maximize their funding from state sources.

The event will be held at the Jefferson Educational Society, located at 3207 State St., Erie.

“State grant funding can be a lifeline for small businesses and nonprofits, but it's critical to know how to tap into that funding,” Merski said. “Our workshop will help participants learn about the different funding sources and how to maximize their return.”

Merski said the workshop will feature a video presentation from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. Participants will have a chance to ask questions and will also receive a free, updated copy of the state grant directory.

Attendance is limited, so those interested should RSVP in advance by calling 814-455-6319.

Anyone who cannot attend but would like a copy of the updated grant guide can pick one up at Merski’s 3901 Liberty St. office Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
