Young also highlighted nearly $300,000 in LSA investments for Delaware County projects, including Flood/Stream Gauges ($224,274) and a Teachers' Teammates Delivery Van ($67,943).

Two projects received funding through the CFA Greenways, Trails, and Recreation Program:

Additionally, the Watershed Restoration Protection Program awarded $150,000 to Fairmount Park Conservancy to fund the Shedbrook Creek Riparian Restoration.

“We are so fortunate in the 185th to receive these funds from the Commonwealth Financing Authority,” said Young. “These investments are a lifeline for community assets and organizations that do incredible work in our neighborhoods, while also improving infrastructure that keeps our communities healthy, clean, and safe in South and Southwest Philadelphia and Delaware County.”
