Pashinski: We Need More Access to Mental Health Services

As Pennsylvania experiences a growing mental health crisis, Pa. state Rep. Eddie Day Pashinski supports additional funding and resources for mental health services through the HOPE for PA plan. Pashinksi, Democratic Chair of the House Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee, also says our farmers don't have the same access to mental health services as those in cities and to help remedy that, the Pa. Department of Agriculture has provided funding for additional phone resources to connect farmers with support. The AgriStress HelpLine for Pennsylvania is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Farmers can call 833-897-AGRI (2474) to speak to a healthcare professional.
