Pielli presents $25,000 check to support Justice Rain Inc.

WEST CHESTER, Dec. 4 – State Rep. Chris Pielli, D-Chester, presented a check for $25,000 to Justice Rain Inc. The $25,000 comes from state grant funds that were announced earlier this year.

Justice Rain is an organization in Chester County that provides addiction support services, mental health counseling, and a wide range of holistic educational resources. Justice Rain will use the funds for its housing and addiction rehabilitation center, Havilah House.

“This is state government at work helping neighbors who are trying to help themselves and lead productive lives within our community.” Pielli said. “Organizations that help others, especially at the local level, need all the support they can get. I am proud to have Justice Rain Inc. right here in West Chester to provide a wide range of services to the people of Chester County.”

Havilah House offers life-changing services for the people of Chester County by providing shelter and rehabilitation for women suffering from addiction and housing insecurity. Pennsylvania is currently facing a tremendous addiction and housing accessibility crisis, Pielli said, so it is crucial to support lifesaving programs that protect family, friends, and neighbors, and strengthen communities. It is important to sustain reliable safeguards for those struggling, he added.

Havilah House offers a holistic rehabilitation process by providing not only affordable housing and rehabilitative care for addiction, but also a variety of educational services. They include stress management, family planning and fiscal responsibility.
