Kosierowski to host HDPC hearing on mental health Feb. 19 in Dickson City

DICKSON CITY, Feb. 13 – State Rep. Bridget M. Kosierowski, D-Lehigh, announced today she will host a House Democratic Policy Committee hearing next week on the shortage of mental health professionals in Pennsylvania schools.

The hearing is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19 at Dickson City Borough, 901 Enterprise Street, Dickson City. Members of the public and media are invited to attend.

Kosierowski requested the hearing to discuss the importance of having mental health professionals available in schools. She will be joined by fellow state legislators, including HDPC Chairman Mike Sturla, D-Lancaster.
