Health Care Staffing Crisis

McCANDLESS, Jan. 26 — The House Democratic Policy Committee convened a hearing in Allegheny County Thursday morning to meet with physicians, hospital administrators, nurses, and paramedics to discuss their numerous staffing challenges. The hearing was hosted by Rep. Arvind Venkat, an emergency physician and the first physician to serve in Pennsylvania’s General Assembly in about 60 years.
