Pennsylvania has the third-largest number of bridges in the nation, according to the National Transportation Safety Board, 53% of those bridges are rated ‘fair’ condition and almost 15% are rated ‘poor’. The Policy Committee will hold a hearing on bridges and what the State Legislature can do to address the status of bridges in the Commonwealth.

The hearing will be hosted by Chair Ryan Bizzarro, Rep. Dan Frankel Tuesday, March 8 at 10:00 a.m. The hearing will take place at the Frick Museum, 7227 Reynolds Street in Pittsburgh, home to the recently collapsed Fern Hollow Bridge.
