On Monday, September 8 at 1:00 p.m., the House Majority Policy Committee will convene a hearing on the importance of civics education, hosted by Rep. Tim Brennan (D-Bucks). Members will hear from former Pennsylvania elected officials and educators about how robust civics education in grade school can preserve the country's democracy and inspire young people to participate in democratic processes. The hearing will be held at the New Hope-Solebury High School, 182 W. Bridge St., New Hope, PA 18938.
