2018 Ride to Gettysburg

On Saturday, Sept. 22, state Rep. Harry Readshaw, D-Allegheny, joined his “Readshaw’s Raiders” and other motorcycle riders from around the commonwealth for their 18th annual “Ride to Gettysburg.” The event supports the Pennsylvania Gettysburg Monuments Project, which Readshaw established in 1997 to fund cleaning, repairs and restoration of the battlefield’s monuments and markers to honor Pennsylvania units. State Rep. Dan Moul, R-Adams, participated in the event as well.

Audrey Iaconoe retires after 22 years with Carnegie Library.

Reps Harry Readshaw and Dan Deasy honor librarian Audrey Iacone upon her retirement from the Carnegie Library system. She spent 22 years with the Carnegie, including the last 15 at the Beechview branch. The Beechview branch is in Deasy's district while Iacone is a resident of Readshaw's district. Congratulations and enjoy your retirement!

Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association recognizes Readshaw.

Rep Readshaw and Marlene Tremmell were honored by the Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association in Harrisburg on Oct. 25. Readshaw received an honorary auctioneer plaque for his work on the passage of H.B. 325 as Democratic chairman of the House Professional Licensure Committee. Tremmell received a citation recognizing her work on the bill as the Democratic Committee Executive Director.
