Rozzi to co-host training sessions on preventing child sexual abuse

READING, Jan. 17 – State Rep. Mark Rozzi invites community members to attend a four-session training workshop to help adults learn how they can protect children from sexual abuse.

“Parents in the Know,” a free program to be offered by Safe Berks, will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Feb. 4, 11, 19 and 25 at the Muhlenberg Township Building, 210 S. George St. Rozzi is co-hosting the program along with the Muhlenberg Township Police Department.

“This training program is a great way for parents and other adults to learn how they help prevent child sexual abuse. Those who participate will learn how to better ask questions and how to intervene in a situation when necessary,” said Rozzi, D-Berks. “We all have a responsibility to protect children, and this training series will help empower adults to look out for children in the community.”
