Rep. Mike Sturla February 5, 2021 | 12:47 PM
HARRISBURG, Feb. 5 – State Rep. Mike Sturla, D-Lancaster, released the following statement after voting in favor of Senate Bill 109 today:
“While I did vote for and strongly support the notion of getting out as much COVID-19 relief as possible to businesses, I am disappointed that the Republicans would not allow us to include performing arts venues in this bill. I am hopeful that we will be able to include them in future grant programs if the federal government provides us with more COVID-19 relief.”
Senate Bill 109 would provide $569 million for rent and utility relief funds, $145 million for small businesses, and $197 million for schools.
