As a nurse practitioner himself, Pa. state Rep. Tarik Khan joined the Alzheimer’s Association to celebrate the passing of his House Resolution designating June 2023 as Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month, as well as honoring and supporting patients and advocates affected while continuously trying to find cures for the disease. Alzheimer’s impacts 55 million people worldwide and in the next 30 years the number of people living with it is expected to double.
