Ullman sworn in as state representative for the 143rd Legislative District
HARRISBURG, Jan. 1 – State Rep. Wendy Ullman was sworn into office during a Capitol ceremony today to represent the 143rd Legislative District.
“I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to represent my community’s interests in Harrisburg,” said Ullman, D-Bucks. “I look forward to working hard to address issues that matter to residents of the communities I represent and to helping create a bright future for all Pennsylvanians.”
Ullman said her legislative priorities include creating an economy that works for everyone, providing for a quality education for all students, and making sure health care is affordable and accessible.
Prior to being elected, Ullman taught English at Bucks County Community College and Montgomery County Community College for 30 years.
The Pennsylvania House of Representatives swearing-in ceremony corresponds with the first Tuesday in January every two years. This year marks Pennsylvania’s 203rd legislative session.
