Pennsylvania Tax Amnesty window closes June 19.

The 60-day Pennsylvania Tax Amnesty Program is now more than half over and time is running out for individuals and businesses to participate. You only have until June 19 to pay past-due state taxes and have all penalties waived and interest cut by half.

After June 19, a 5 percent penalty will be added to unpaid liabilities that were eligible for tax amnesty and the department will continue enforcement activities that recover more than $600 million in back taxes annually.

The state Department of Revenue estimates more than 59,000 Allegheny County residents may be eligible for this amnesty program.
