DREXEL HILL, May 7 – State Rep. Mike Zabel, D-Delaware, will host a job fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, May 13 at the Clifton Heights Athletic Field, located at 217 N. Springfield Road in Clifton Heights. “The pandemic has changed the way many industries do business,” Zabel said. “While thousands of people in our region temporarily and permanently lost their jobs, some businesses have recovered and are now hiring. My hope for this event is to help put workers in touch with the businesses looking to hire skilled employees.” Prospective job applicants are encouraged to bring extra copies of their resumes, dress business casual and wear footwear suitable for walking across a baseball diamond. The event still has a limited number of spaces at the job fair for employers. If you own or operate a business in the area and would like to reserve a spot, contact Zabel’s Drexel Hill office at 484-200-8262 or email Katie Reimer at . Prospective job applicants can also reach out to Zabel’s office or email for more information. In the event of inclement weather, the rain date for the job fair will be May 20. Read more
