Rep. Aerion Abney is joined by PA Department of Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding to celebrate Pennsylvania Urban Ag Week to highlight the diversity of Pennsylvania agriculture at Peace and Friendship Farm in the Hill District. This event was designed to gather local and state officials, members of the urban agriculture community, project supporters, members of the Pittsburgh Food Policy Council and conservation officials to celebrate the strides the region has made in the advancement of urban agriculture, as well as celebrate farms and gardens where infrastructure improvements have been funded in part through the Pennsylvania Farm Bill Urban Agriculture Infrastructure grant and acknowledge the tireless dedication of community leaders, organizations and supporters.
