Rep. Tim Brennan April 23, 2026 | 10:12 AM
BUCKS COUNTY – State Senator Steve Santarsiero (D-10) and Representative Tim Brennan (D-29) will host a College Prep Night to help students and families navigate the college application process and prepare for higher education.
The event, which will be held at Central Bucks High School West, is open to students and families across Middle and Lower Bucks. Experts will provide guidance on key aspects of college preparation, including information on saving for college, PA Treasury’s 529 College Savings Program, financial aid and how to find the right college for your student. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from professionals and ask questions in an accessible, supportive setting.
The speakers for the event are as follows:
- Francine E. Block, MAT, CEP, American College Admissions Consultants
- Aizaz Gill, PA Treasury
- Frances McKeown, Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency
“Preparing for college can feel overwhelming for students and families alike,” said Senator Santarsiero. “This event is designed to provide clear, practical guidance and connect our community with resources that can help make higher education more attainable.”
“Deciding where to go to college is navigating a maze of choices, making a series of big decisions about your future. That’s a lot of pressure on young people,” said Representative Brennan. “I hope our College Prep Night takes some of the mystery out of that process for the students and families who join us. We’ll make sure you know about real support tools you can use right away and introduce you to the state programs and services ready to help you figure out your path to higher education.”
