Brian's Briefing for Dec. 12: Tomorrow: Join Us for Holiday Cheer at our Winter Open House

Dear Neighbors,

We’re kicking off the winter holiday season tomorrow at our annual Winter Open House! You’re invited to my district office at 1410 W. Street Rd., Warminster, between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to meet me and my team and enjoy seasonal snacks and beverages.

It’s an honor to serve my community, and I can’t wait to get to know you better. Stop by, have some refreshments, and find out how we can support you and your family.

We do ask attendees to RSVP in advance so that we can best prepare to host you. There’s still time to register, and you can do so online here.

In Service,

Our Pet Supply Drive was a huge (and adorable) success!

Who doesn’t love a Saturday morning spent with amazing pups? Last weekend we hosted our Dog Adoption Meet & Greet and Pet Supply Drive, and so many of you came out to donate much-needed shelter supplies and give some love to the dogs they’re currently caring for. Some of you even started talking with the shelters about giving the dogs forever homes!

My team and I had a great time hosting this event – our first annual – and look forward to hosting it again next year.

Honoring Judy Hoover

I am so proud of my friend and staffer Judy Hoover, who just finished her six-year term as Warminster Township Supervisor. She was recognized by being given the Key to the City of Warminster, and I had the honor of presenting her with a House Citation.

Judy has done amazing work as supervisor and continues to do as a member of my staff -- and I can't wait to see what great things she does next.

Helping seniors stay eligible for prescription assistance

I’m happy to share that House Bill 923 was recently signed into law, becoming Act 49 of 2025. This new law ensures that seniors remain eligible for PACE and PACENET – the state’s two prescription assistance programs – even if social security cost of living increases push them over the income limit. The law protects PACE and PACENET access for seniors in this group through December of 2027.

Policy tour of Sheetmetal Workers Local 19

Earlier this week, I joined the Policy Committee for a tour and roundtable discussion at the Sheetmetal Workers Local 19 Training Center in Philadelphia. It was an insightful and engaging experience, and we had a great conversation about how to support and grow the PA workforce.

Working together to best serve you

The House Southeast Delegation recently attended a retreat to recommit to and strengthen our ability to collaborate and communicate ideas and opinions in thoughtful, respectful ways. We strive to work as a team to serve the communities of Southeastern PA, and retreats like these allow us the time and space to make sure we can do so effectively.

Don’t miss the Property Tax/Rent Rebate deadline on Dec. 31!

Don’t forget! The PTRR program closes for applications on Dec. 31. You can apply online, or give us a call at (215) 323-6997 if you need assistance.
