Rep. Brian Munroe February 13, 2026 | 3:50 PM
Dear Neighbors,
February is American Heart Month, a chance to recognize the widespread risk of cardiovascular disease and encourage more people to learn live-saving CPR.
Research shows that immediate CPR can double or even triple the chances of survival from someone experiencing cardiac arrest. And often the first person available to perform CPR isn’t a medical or emergency responder, but an everyday citizen like you.
This Heart Month, I encourage you to visit the American Heart Association’s website to watch videos about hands-only CPR and how you can be prepared to help during a cardiac emergency.
In Service,
Brian
We’re Closed this Monday, 2/16
My office will be closed this Monday, February 16 in observance of Presidents Day. We will reopen Tuesday, February 17 for our normal business hours.
We need interns!
We’re hiring interns for the spring season! Interested students can email a resume to Ryan Leighton at rleighton@pahouse.net. Interns work in my district office at 1410 W. Street Rd., Warminster, for 25 hours a week. This is a great opportunity to get a hands-on look at what working in state government can be and how holding public office impacts your community.
Braving the cold to protect you from fraud
Even arctic windchills couldn’t stop us from helping you protect yourself from identity theft! Despite Saturday’s extreme cold, we hosted our winter Shred Event and helped many of you safely dispose of sensitive personal information. Thank you to everyone who ventured out to take advantage of the event and to my team for bundling up and making it happen!
Share your opinions with PennDOT
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is seeking input from Pennsylvanians on traffic safety and driving behaviors through an online survey that will be available beginning today through February 28 at pa.gov/dotsafety. The survey will help inform PennDOT on how the Shapiro Administration can continue to improve traffic safety - and save lives - across the Commonwealth.
PennDOT invests nearly $30 million annually in federal grant funds statewide, partnering with educational and enforcement grantees, to deliver programming each year to help prevent crashes, fatalities, and injuries on our roadways. This survey seeks information on drivers’ behavior behind the wheel to better inform PennDOT’s program planning. This voluntary survey covers several topics including seat belt use, impaired driving, speeding, and distracted driving, as well as bicycle, pedestrian, and motorcycle safety.
