SEPTA announced in early April 2025 that it will need to make significant cuts to services beginning in August 2025 -- including eliminating bus routes and rail service that are key to our region's economic health, such as the Paoli-Thorndale line -- unless the legislature approves its full budget proposal.
Highlighting how much southeast PA depends on SEPTA (and how the commonwealth depends on southeast PA as an economic driver!) is essential to convincing Senate leadership to step up and approve the funding SEPTA needs to avoid these cuts.
Add your name to our petition to the Senate demanding they approve our SEPTA funding legislation!
We’ll present it to the Senate after we’ve voted in the House to approve the bill for the 2025-26 budget.
(Have even more to say about the ways you use SEPTA? Click here to tell us your story, and we'll make sure the Senate gets the message!)
