My AI in Healthcare Legislation Passes – and other Harrisburg Updates
|
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing how we deliver healthcare. But we must make sure that AI’s use in healthcare is transparent, does not supersede human decision making, and complies with existing laws on privacy, safety, and anti-discrimination.
This week, the House passed HB 1925, bipartisan legislation I introduced with several of my colleagues that will regulate the use of AI in healthcare. The bill is now in the Senate for consideration.
