I will be holding my annual Children’s Safety Event at the Dougherty veterans baseball field in Etna (27 Crescent Ave., Pittsburgh, 15223) from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24.
From emergency services to various government and local agencies, the event will have many representatives on hand with information, activities and demonstrations to teach the children safety in various aspects of life, such as fire safety, bike safety, car safety, etc. There will be car seat checks and fingerprinting on site as well. There also will be numerous emergency service vehicles for the children to explore, door prizes, appearances by local mascots, a bounce house and much more!
Lunch also will be provided. This is sure to be a very fun and educational day!
