COVID-19 Vaccine Opportunities

My staff and I have been compiling COVID vaccine opportunities, and I wanted to share our most recent list.

Medicine Shoppe at the Tri-County Active Adult Center (Pottstown): Tuesday, April 27

The Tri-County Active Adult Center (TRAAC) and the Medicine Shoppe will hold a COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Tuesday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This will be held at the TRAAC’s building at 288 Moser Road in Pottstown.

Pre-registration is required, and limited appointments are available. The second dose will be administered on Tuesday, May 18, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. You must be available to attend both vaccination clinics.

To make an appointment, please call 610-323-5009 and press 1 for the front desk. You will be scheduled for the second vaccine at the same time you are scheduled for your first. Please bring photo ID and insurance information. Masks are required. This clinic will be administering the Pfizer vaccine.

Walk-in Clinic at The Ricketts Center (Pottstown): Sunday, April 25

The Pottstown Pharmacy will be offering a COVID-19 vaccine walk-in clinic on Sunday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Ricketts Center, located at 658 Beech St. in Pottstown. Up to 1,000 shots of the Pfizer vaccine will be administered, and anyone over the age of 16 is eligible. No appointments are necessary; please call 484-644-3120 with any questions.

Medicine Shoppe at Boyertown High School (Boyertown): Saturday, April 24

The Medicine Shoppe is continuing to hold vaccination clinics at Boyertown High School, with the next one scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 24. Second doses are scheduled for Sunday, May 23, at the same time as your first appointment. The Pfizer vaccine will be administered, and anyone aged 16+ is eligible.

Montgomery County Vaccination Clinics

Montgomery County continues to schedule appointments at its vaccination clinics around the County, including Pottstown, Lansdale, Blue Bell, Norristown and Willow Grove. Everyone aged 16+ who lives or works in Montgomery County is now eligible.

Appointments are required and registration can be done online through the official Montco vaccine registration website or by contacting the Montgomery County COVID-19 hotline at 833-875-3967. General questions can also be emailed to covid19@montcopa.org. Montgomery County is currently administering the Pfizer vaccine and has paused the use of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine until further notice.
