Davis to host COVID-19 vaccine booster shot clinic

Reserve a spot for the Nov. 18 event

LEVITTOWN, Nov. 8 – State Rep. Tina Davis will host a one-day COVID-19 booster shot clinic from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 18 in her district office at 4530 New Falls Road, Levittown.

“I’m encouraging residents to take part in my COVID-19 booster shot clinic,” Davis said. “Booster shots can help prolong protection from the coronavirus. I’m pleased to once again partner with Acme Pharmacy, which has stepped in to donate their time and resources for this event.”

The CDC recommends boosters for people ages 65 and older, people with underlying medical conditions ages 50 to 64, and people living in long-term care facilities ages 18 and older. The CDC recommends people vaccinated with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine receive their booster at least two months after the vaccine. People who received the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines should receive a booster at least six months after receiving the second dose. More information on boosters can be found here or on the CDC website.

Shots are available by appointment only and will be available for residents of the 141st Legislative District, which includes Bristol and Middletown townships, as well as Hulmeville and Penndel.

For more information on making an appointment, call 267-580-2660. Residents must bring a photo ID, vaccination card and a health insurance card, if available.
