Gallagher welcomes $1.4 million in state funding for local projects

HARRISBURG, Dec. 18 – State Rep. Pat Gallagher, D-Phila., today announced that more than $1.4 million in state funding has been awarded to organizations for projects in the legislative district he serves.

The projects awarded include:

  • Holy Family University will receive $750,000 to purchase and install audio/visual equipment in the Welcome Center.

  • Glen Foerd Conservation Corporation will receive $739,042 for renovations to the Glen Foerd Mansion.

“Holy Family University and Glen Foerd Conservation Corporation contribute very much to our community, and I am glad to see them being awarded this well-deserved state funding,” Gallagher said.

This funding comes from the PA Race Horse Development and Gaming Act Statewide Local Share Account.
