Guenst applauds safety grant benefitting Hatboro Borough

HARRISBURG, Dec. 14 – State Rep. Nancy Guenst, D-Montgomery, announced today that Hatboro Borough has received a $205,447 grant to replace patrol car and body worn cameras used by the Hatboro Police Department.

“When I was Mayor of Hatboro, I worked with the police every single day,” Guenst said. “This upgrade to their body and car cameras – which help to ensure transparency in our policing – is well-deserved, and I am proud to have supported this grant request.”

The grants were approved today by The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency as part of a new Local Law Enforcement Support Grant Program. The program was signed into law in July by Gov. Tom Wolf.
