Dear Friends,

While a fundamental responsibility as your State Representative is to legislate and serve as your voice in the Capitol, my office does much more than work on bills and policy in Harrisburg. In my district office, we help residents navigate state programs and services, resolve problems with state agencies, and connect with resources available to them.

We are here to serve you! As of this week, my office has assisted 6,259 residents who have called, emailed, written, or visited our office since the beginning of 2026. We also take our services into the community through phone calls, door-to-door outreach, letters, and mobile offices. This year alone, my staff have held 94 mobile offices throughout the district and continue to make themselves available outside regular office hours when residents need assistance.

Bringing Money Back to the District:

I also work to bring state funding home to the communities I represent: Whitpain, Lower Gwynedd, Upper Gwynedd, and Towamencin townships and North Wales Borough.

Each community has its own priorities, and I work with local leaders and organizations to advocate for projects that improve quality of life, enhance public safety, and strengthen our local economy. Since beginning my current term, I am proud to have helped secure $8.577 million for projects throughout the 61st District. You can find more information about funded projects in my news releases.

My staff are also helping residents put money that belongs to them back in their wallets. You may have received a call or letter from my office letting you know that you have unclaimed funds with the Pennsylvania Treasury. It is not a scam. We want to help you recover your money, and we do it at no cost to you.

The Pennsylvania Treasury currently holds more than $4.5 billion in unclaimed property, and one in 10 Pennsylvanians has money waiting to be claimed. So far this year, our office has helped residents recover $75,139.

My office also helps residents apply for and navigate state benefit programs.

We continue to assist seniors and other eligible residents with the PA Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program. As a courtesy, we also help those applying for North Penn School District’s and Wissahickon School District’s rebate programs.

If you are permanently disabled, a widow or widower age 55 or older, or age 65 or older, and your income did not exceed $48,110 in 2025, you may qualify for a rebate on property taxes or rent. My staff can help determine whether you qualify and assist you with the application process.

So far in 2026, we have filed 202 applications, helping eligible residents claim a combined $49,787 in rebate funds. If you want to learn more about the PA Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program, please visit here.

Additional Services Provided

Our office provides a number of other services that help residents navigate everyday needs.

If you are 65 or older, we can help you apply for or renew your free SEPTA Senior Key Card. Stop by our office Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.—no appointment is necessary. Bring your identification, and we will help you complete the application. SEPTA will mail your card directly to you. So far this year, we have processed more than 550 applications.

We also provide notary services at our Blue Bell office. This year, we have completed 185 free notarizations. We can notarize most documents, except for political documents and vehicle titles, which we are legally prohibited from notarizing. Please call ahead to schedule an appointment, particularly if your documents require witnesses, so we can make sure a staff member is available to assist you.

Our office can also help you apply for programs including LIHEAP, Medical Assistance, SNAP, and other state benefits. If you encounter a problem with a state agency or have an issue that prevents you from receiving a benefit or service, our staff will work with the appropriate agency to help resolve it.

Keeping You Informed

President Barack Obama once said, “An informed and educated citizenry is essential to the functioning of our modern democratic society.” As your State Representative I believe keeping you informed is one of my most important responsibilities. You deserve to know what your state government is doing, how decisions in Harrisburg may affect you, and how you can make your voice heard.

Through my weekly e-newsletters, legislative updates, reports from Harrisburg during session, and community updates, I work to keep you informed about the issues affecting our district and our state. But communication goes both ways. Your calls, emails, and conversations with me and my staff help us understand what matters most to our community and shape the issues I advocate for in Harrisburg.

Sometimes, staying informed is simply a matter of personal interest in an issue or topic that matters to you. But many of the issues I discuss have much broader consequences, affecting thousands or even millions of Pennsylvanians. That is especially true as we navigate significant changes at the federal level that could affect health care, food assistance, and public safety. My office will continue to keep you informed as these programs and policies change and as we learn more about what they will mean for Pennsylvania.

With four months remaining in 2026, we are approaching the timeline for more of the changes at the federal level under H.R. 1 to be implemented, impacting programs including SNAP and Medical Assistance. I will provide more information about these changes later this month, including what they could mean for Commonwealth services, you, your family, and our community.
