Thank you! To everyone who voted, encouraged a friend or neighbor to vote, served as a poll worker, volunteered on a campaign, or put your own name forward as a candidate, I am grateful. Our democracy depends on people being willing to show up, do the work, and participate. I appreciate everyone who did their part in this election.
I am especially grateful to the residents of the 61st Legislative District for giving me the opportunity to continue serving as your state representative. I cannot fully express how much your support means to me. Being reelected is an incredible honor, and I never lose sight of the fact that this job is a privilege. I take seriously the responsibility that comes with your trust, and I will continue working hard to make a difference in our community, help our neighbors navigate challenges, and deliver results. Thank you for allowing me the honor of doing this work.
I also want to recognize everyone who endeavors to serve in public office. Putting your name on the ballot takes courage, and campaigning requires an enormous amount of time and energy. I have a great deal of respect for everyone who is willing to step forward, put themselves out there, and serve their community.
Finally, a quick note about the weekly emails: I have been sending them on Fridays because that works best with my schedule in Harrisburg and gives me time to write when I am back in the district. I understand more people read their emails during the week, so I'll move them to Tuesdays for now.
Thank you again for your support, for staying engaged, and for allowing me to represent you in Harrisburg. I look forward to continuing conversations and working on your behalf.
