PTRR for 2025 Is Now Open
2025 PTRR application filing period is now open.
You may be eligible for a rebate of up to $1,000. Please contact my office if you require assistance applying for this program.
Applications for home heating help
The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program allows you to apply for a cash grant to help pay your heating bill—from $200 to $1,000 based on your household size, income, and fuel type.

Free help during Medicare Advantage open enrollment
The state Department of Aging is reminding older adults that the annual Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period is underway. Running through March 31, this period allows beneficiaries to switch to a different Medicare Advantage plan or return to Original Medicare.
The Pennsylvania Medicare Education and Decision Insight, or PA MEDI, program offers free, unbiased counseling to help seniors make informed health insurance decisions. This initiative ensures that older adults can optimize their cost savings and access to health care.

The New Fast File Program
The Department of Revenue has launched a new Fast File program to offer a free and quick way for select Pennsylvanians to file their PA Personal Income Tax Return (PA-40).
The goal of Fast File is to provide a streamlined online option for taxpayers with a simple PA return, helping them meet their tax obligations while avoiding the cost of other tax-filing services.
Roughly 100,000 Pennsylvania taxpayers will be getting letters from DOR about the program.
