Kosierowski issues statement in response to Gov. Wolf’s budget proposal

HARRISBURG, Feb. 3– State Rep. Bridget Kosierowski, D-Lackawanna, today released the following statement in response to Gov. Tom Wolf’s budget address:

“Today, Governor Wolf presented a very bold executive budget plan that addresses many issues that will bring long-overdue discussions,” Kosierowski said. “The released budget is a blueprint for many conversations and negotiations over the next few months before a final budget vote in June.

“There is no doubt that these past 10 months have been challenging, and we face many additional challenges as we move toward a recovery. I look forward to working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to find the best path to invest in our small businesses, fairly fund our schools, join our neighboring states in raising the minimum wage to something more livable and bringing much-needed tax relief to low income working families.”
