HARRISBURG, Jan. 10 – State Rep. Bridget M. Kosierowski offered the following statement regarding today’s announcement that the Scranton School District successfully completed the requirements to exit Financial Recovery Status.
“It’s a good sign to see the Scranton School District exit Financial Recovery Status, but I want to be clear that it did not come without many hardships.
“As we move forward, I will encourage the incoming Shapiro administration to meet the state’s constitutional obligation to adequately fund education, so Pennsylvania students don’t fall behind, no matter where they live,” Kosierowski said.
