FOLSOM, Sept. 10 – State Rep. Leanne Krueger will host a virtual workshop focused on emergency preparedness at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 22.
“September is National Preparedness Month, and I’m pleased to offer this event to help community members learn how they can be prepared for emergencies and disasters of all kinds,” said Krueger, D-Delaware. “No one likes to think that an emergency or disaster will affect them. But being prepared can provide peace of mind and equip residents with valuable knowledge in case the unthinkable does happen.”
The virtual workshop will include guest speakers from the American Red Cross. Participants will learn what to do before, during and after disasters and emergencies, and find out how to put together a preparedness kit and emergency plan.
The workshop will be livestreamed at RepLeanne.com. Questions can be submitted in advance to RepKrueger@pahouse.net and will be taken during the event.
