Krueger issues statement on Delaware County Juvenile Justice Center abuse allegations

FOLSOM, March 18 – State Rep. Leanne Krueger, D-Delaware, today issued the following statement regarding allegations of abuse at the Delaware County Juvenile Justice Center:

“News of abuse at the Delaware County Juvenile Justice Center is appalling and heartbreaking. As a society, we have a responsibility to keep every kid safe. And, as a mother, I believe every parent has a right to know that their child will be cared for, even in the most vulnerable situations. When children find the courage to speak their truths, we must believe them. This matter must be investigated, and I am thankful to Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro, who has committed to do so.”
