Krueger to host REAL ID information-only session

FOLSOM, Sept. 30 – State Rep. Leanne Krueger invites residents to join her for an information-only event to discuss REAL ID from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Brookhaven Municipal Center, 2 Cambridge Road, Brookhaven.

A representative from PennDOT will join Krueger to answer questions about what REAL ID is, how to obtain one and who needs one.

“I have heard from many constituents who have questions about whether or not they need to get a REAL ID,” said Krueger. “I hope this informational session will give them the answers they need ahead of the upcoming deadline.”

Beginning May 3, 2023, Pennsylvanians will need a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, photo ID card, or another form of federally acceptable identification (such as a valid passport or military ID) to board a domestic commercial flight or enter a federal building or military installation that requires ID.

The event is open to the public. Anyone with questions can call 610-534-6880 or email RepKrueger@pahouse.net.
